15 reconnaissance missions around the North Sea; four attacks on England dropping 6,567 kg (14,478 lb)of bombs; used as a school ship from 11 December 1917.

It took part in the silent raid 19-20 October 1917 on the UK with 11 Zeppelins. In total 36 people killed by bombs and 55 injured, but 4 Zeppelins were lost that night. Hauptmann Kuno Manger was in charge of L41.

They managed to drops some bombs on the Austin Motor Works at Longbridge (location 52°23’36”N 1°59’13.5”W ) but inflicted only small damage.

L41 was destroyed in Germany on 23 June 1919.
